O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent to sanction and allow the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- from and out of his own accumulation of Provident Fund contribution available to the credit of the respondent for the marriage of his daughter.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was appointed as a Conductor in the respondent Corporation in the year 1988. Thereafter, he was promoted as Senior Checking Inspector and rendered 33 years of service and the petitioner performed his daughter's marriage on 04.12.2022, for which, he borrowed private loan from the neighbours and friends and the petitioner made an application on 21.11.2022 for sanction of loan amount of Rs.5,00,000/- from his Provident Fund account and the same was not considered and hence, the present writ petition is filed with the aforesaid prayer.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.11.2022 within a reasonable time as fixed by this Court.

4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 21.11.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
