ORDER
Pursuant to the order passed on 26.11.2024, a status report has been filed by the first respondent Police.
2. On carefully going through the same, it is seen that very serious allegations have been made against Accused No.2. This Court did not have the chance to go through these allegations, since the anticipatory bail was filed by stating that the crime number is not known. This Court ordered the anticipatory bail on the premise that it was a matrimonial dispute. However, on going through the status report, it is seen that the case in hand is not just a matrimonial dispute but it also involves sexual harassment of the defacto complainant by the father-in-law(Accused No.2).
3. In view of the above, the anticipatory bail granted by this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD).No.18835 by order dated 29.10.2024 confines itself only to accused No.3. Insofar as Accused No.1 is concerned, the Anticipatory bail petition is pending. Insofar as Accused No.2, there shall be a direction to file a fresh anticipatory bail petition by mentioning the Crime number and by making necessary averments based on the allegations made against Accused No.2 in the FIR.
4. This anticipatory bail shall be filed and brought up for hearing by 02.01.2025. In the mean time accused no.2 need not be arrested. 2/4
5. In view of the above, this petition stands closed and post Crl.O.P.(MD). No.18835 of 2024 on 06.01.2025 for hearing.
