No.15/2022 pending on the file of the Learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Sattur.

2.The contention of the petitioners is that based on the complaint lodged by the 2nd respondent, the 1st respondent registered the First Information Report in Crime No.14 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 498(A) and 406 of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1991, against the petitioners. 3.Pending this petition, the matter was referred to the Mediation Centre. Before the Mediation Centre, there was settlement between the parties, by which, the wife has received Rs.7 lakhs as life time alimony. It was also decided to separate mutually. Divorce was also granted by the Sub Court, Sattur in H.M.O.P.No.126 oaf 2023. Similarly, there were exchange of articles belongs to 2/4

both parties. In view of the above said settlement between the parties before the Mediation Centre, let them appear before the respondent and make statement with regard to the above said compromise. On the basis of the above said statement, the respondent police may close the FIR.

4.With the above said directions, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. The terms of compromise shall form part of the order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
