Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2024 and appoint a special officer to oversee the functioning thirupani works. ORDER

Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondents.

2. Mr.M.Maharajan, learned counsel representing one of the trustees, who had been appointed on 24.01.2024, would submit that he is a necessary party to the writ petition.

3. However, considering the limited prayer that has been sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2024, however, after affording an opportunity to the other trustees. This order shall not preclude the ritual that is sought to be carried out in the temple beginning from 14.11.2024. The second respondent shall consider the

representation of the petitioner as indicated above within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
