Kanagambal and Packiam from the properties covered in Patta No.2448 and any other property in Kalingamudayanpatty, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District and entering the name of any other person or body in respect of the above properties without due process of law.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2019. The petition also seeks a direction restraining the respondents from transferring the names of the petitioner and his sisters, viz., Kanagambal and Packiam, from the properties covered under Patta No.2448 and any other properties in Kalingamudayanpatty, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District, or from entering the name of any other person or body in respect of the said properties without following due process of law.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

According to the petitioner, he and his sisters, Kanagambal and Packiam, are the lawful owners of the properties covered under Patta No.2448 and other properties in Kalingamudayanpatty, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District. The petitioner submitted a representation dated 11.06.2019 requesting the respondents to take note of their ownership and protect their rights. Despite the representation, there is apprehension that the respondents may transfer the petitioner's and his

sisters' names from the said properties or record the name of any other person or entity without following due process of law. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered on merits and in accordance with law.

5. Recording the above submissions, and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2019 on its merits and in accordance with law. The respondents shall pass appropriate orders after providing a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and to any other persons who may be affected by such decision, and after considering objections if any, raised by them, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
