ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Special Grade Conductor seeking a Mandamus to the respondent authorities for payment of Surrender Leave Salary along with 6% interest.

2. According to the writ petitioner, he retired from service on 31.07.2022. However, his Surrender Leave Salary has not been paid to him. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above said facts, the second respondent is directed to disburse the eligible Surrender Leave Salary to the writ petitioner along with 6% interest, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
