Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for TANGEDCO.

2. Though the respondents 3 and 5 have been served and their names are printed in the cause list, they have not chosen to enter appearance. The fourth respondent is said to be no more.

3. The petitioner seeks electricity service connection for the petition mentioned premises. The earlier application submitted by the petitioner is said to have been cancelled. The petitioner is directed to submit a fresh application to the second respondent. Subject to fulfilment of the other usual formalities, the second respondent shall provide electricity service connection for the petition mentioned premises as expeditiously as possible after receipt of such application. This writ petition stands allowed. No costs.
