O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The case of the writ petitioner is that a number of ineligible persons have been given house site patta in the petition mentioned survey number. He would point out that even the wife of a retired Tahsildar was given house site patta.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader would point out that the issue that had taken place 22 years ago need not be reopened.

4. I do not want to go into the factual controversy. The third respondent is directed to hold an enquiry and pass order on the petition mentioned representation on merits and 2/4

3 W.P.(MD)NO.27857 OF 2022 in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent should hear the petitioner as well as the other interested persons before passing final order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or the other.

5. This writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
