O R D E R

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Woman Nayak seeking a mandamus directing the first respondent to consider her representation to revoke the order of removal from service.

2. It could be seen from the typed set of papers that by way of an order dated 29.11.2019, the petitioner had suffered an order of removal from service at the hands of the second respondent. The petitioner has not chosen to challenge the said order. Thereafter, the petitioner has sent a representation to the second respondent on 04.10.2023 requesting him to revoke the order of removal from service and to reinstate her. Based upon the said representation, the present writ petition has been filed for a mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider the representation.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent brought to the notice of this Court that the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 04.10.2023 has already been disposed of by the 2/5

proceedings, dated 19.10.2023 directing the writ petitioner to approach the Director General of Police by way of filing Revision Petition.

4. Since the petitioner has not chosen to challenge the order of removal from service and she has got an alternative remedy for filing an appeal before the Director General of Police, no further orders are called for in the present writ petition. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Director General of Police by filing the Revision Petition, challenging the order passed by the second respondent herein, on 29.11.2019. In case, if any such revision is filed on or before 30.11.2023, the same shall be decided by the Director General of Police on merits and in accordance with law.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
