********* (Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR,J) This Contempt Petition is filed seeking to punish the respondents for their wilful and wanton disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P(MD)No.17837 of 2018, dated 11.08.2018.

2.Pursuant to the direction issued by this Court, dated 11.08.2018, for non-compliance of the above said order, the present contempt Petition has been filed. Pending the Contempt Petition, report was filed by the Executive Engineer, P.W.D/WRO/Periyar Vaigai Basin Division, Madurai -2 by stating that the second farmers meeting was also conducted by the Assistant Executive Engineer and Assistant Engineer on 6.9.2019 with the presence of the Petitioner and the same resolution has been passed. The details of Double Crop Ayacutdhars Name List with Extent(Thodaneri Bit-I and Bit-II) of Thodaneri Tank Received from the concerned Village Administrative Officer on 18.2.2019. Based on that, the water will be distributed according to the right of the double crop 2/4

Ayacutdhars without any illegality during the period of July to September in future.

3.Recording the aforesaid report, the Contempt Petition is closed, with a direction to the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents to serve a copy of the said report to the learned counel for the Petitioner, within a period of two weeks from today. No costs.
