ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the first respondent to direct the second respondent to provide an adequate police protection to the petitioner's Church and the members and believers of the Church and other consequential reliefs based on the complaint given to the second respondent dated on 14.12.2019.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as a Chief Pastor in Lebonan Assemblies of God Church in Karur. In respect of immoral activities committed by the third respondent/the erstwhile pastor and his son namely Sam Mangalraj, one of the believer of the said church has given a complaint, based on which, a case has been registered against the third respondent/the erstwhile pastor and his son in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.27002 of 2019 Crime No.759 of 2019 for the offences under Section 295, 295[A], 296 and 420 of IPC. Thereafter, based on the other complaints of misfeasance, disciplinary action was taken against the third respondent and his son by the organisation viz., Tamil District Council of South India Assemblies of God and that he was already suspended from conducting the activities of the church. Despite the action taken by the organisation, the third respondent and his son are creating problem in the said church for which, the petitioner had sent a representation to the respondent on 14.12.2019 and thereby, the petitioner has approached this Court seeking for protection.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by one of the believers of the said church, a case in Crime No.759 of 2019 has been registered against the third respondent and his son. She would further submit that a peace committee meeting was conducted and the parties were present before the the Revenue Divisional Officer and it was decided that the third respondent and his son will not interfere in the activities of the church.
4.In view of the above, this writ petition is closed. No costs. If it is found that there is interference of the third respondent and his son, the respondent police shall take appropriate action against the third respondent and his son and provide protection if necessary.
