O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st respondent to provide Police protection, based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.10.2023.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is having full ownership of the property under dispute and Patta was also granted in her favour, that was challenged by the counter party, that ended in failure. Based upon the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatty, the petitioner made representation seeking Police protection, that was not considered.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that on the basis of the representation made by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in CSR No. 900 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, finding that Patta was granted in favour of this petitioner, the private respondent is directed not to interfere into the affairs of the petitioner. The private respondent has given an undertaking that he will workout his remedy through appropriate civil process. On the basis of the above said undertaking, the said enquiry was closed. 2/4
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this matter has become infructuous. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
