O R D E R

The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the contemnor for not obeying the order by this Court passed in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.993 of 2023 dated 02.02.2023.

2. It is evident from the records that this Court, when the petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.993 of 2023 was moved, vide order dated 02.02.2023 directed the contemnor / first respondent not to file final report for a period of four weeks.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the contemnor would submit that they have filed the final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate on 21.05.2025 deleting one of the accused and hence, the learned Magistrate has taken the same on file in Crl.M.P.No.1529 of 2023 and called objections of the complainant and is pending.

4. Since this Court has granted interim order for the period of four weeks and the same was not extended, filing of the charge sheet on 21.05.2025 cannot be found fault with and as such, there is no willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court. Hence, this Contempt Petition stands dismissed.
