PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus calling for the records of the select list of candidates for appointment to the post of Lab Assistant published on the Notice Board of the fourth respondent and quash the same in so far as the selection of priority candidates are concerned and consequently direct the respondents to publish the fresh list of priority candidates by treating all the categories within Group-II in G.O.Ms.No.188, dated 28.12.1976 equally and apply the priority category by selecting the most meritorious amongst all the categories based upon the marks or in the alternative direct the respondents to allocate a percentage to all the categories within Group-II in G.O.Ms.No. 188, dated 28.12.1976.
