PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to quash the FIR in Crime No.124 of 2022 dated 07.09.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Koomapatty Police Station, Virudhunagar District (1st respondent herein) under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022 (herein after referred "TNPHW Act").

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash FIR in Crime No.124 of 2022 dated 07.09.2022 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Koomapatty Police Station, Virudhunagar District registered under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 324 and 506(2) IPC r/w Section 4 of the Tamilnadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent submitted 2/4

that upon completion of investigation, the first respondent filed final report, which was taken on file in C.C.No.13 of 2023 by the Additional Mahila Court, Srivilliputhur.

3.In view of the above, no further order is required in this petition. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. The petitioners are at liberty to workout their remedy in the manner known to law. 26.03.2024 NCC :
