O R D E R

The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3, to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner's life and limb and to vacate the fourth respondent from her house situated in D.No.8/44-A situated at Keelaperumalpatti, Vikkiramangalam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.08.2025.

2. It is a case of the petitioner that the fourth respondent was permitted to occupy the petitioner's premises, for maintaining the same and he is now refusing to vacate and threatened her of dire consequences.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that on the complaint given by the petitioner, two cases have been registered in Crime No.28 of 2025 and Crime No.70 of 2025 and the same is 2/4

under investigation. He would also submit that a protection cannot be granted to vacate the fourth respondent from the house and it is for the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy before the civil Court for vacating the fourth respondent.

This Court is of the view that since the offences committed by the fourth respondent have been taken cognizance of by the respondent and two cases have already been registered and are under the investigation, there cannot be any direction to the respondents to provide protection to the respondent to evict the fourth respondent. It is for the petitioner is to approach the Civil Court for evicting the fourth respondent.

5. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
