ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Secondary Grade Teacher seeking a Mandamus to promote him as a B.T Assistant (English) in the vacant place in the Government Adi-Dravidar Welfare Higher Secondary School in Kalingarajapuram at Kanyakumari District.

2. A seniority list has also been published by the second respondent on 27.03.2023, in which the name of the writ petitioner has been included. However, since the promotion has not been effected pursuant to the seniority list, the petitioner has given a representation on 14.07.2023 to the first respondent herein.

3. In view of the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to consider the representation of the writ petitioner, dated 14.07.2023 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. With the above said observation, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
