No. 75/7A2 situated at Allikundam Village, Usilampatti Taluk, Madurai District with the aid of the 1/5

respondent no. 3 and 4 and direct the respondent no.1 and 2 to issue survey report on the basis of the application dated 17.07.2025 and consequently mutate the patta within a stipulated time period in accordance with law.

O R D E R

After submitting an application requesting for a survey and making representations in relation thereto, the present writ petition has been filed.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on sale deed dated 03.07.2025 and Patta No.5233 in the name of Ramasamy Thevar. By referring to sale deed dated 03.07.2025, it is submitted that the pattadhar is one of the vendors.

3. Mr.B.Saravanan, learned Additional Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 2. Mr.S.Prakash, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents 3 and 4. 2/5

4. On instructions, learned Additional Government Pleader submits that the survey could not be conducted in view of objections raised by neighbouring land owners.

5. Since objections have been raised by neighbouring land owners, it is just and necessary that they be put on notice before any action is taken on the petitioner's application.

6. Subject to this condition, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the first and second respondents to consider the petitioner's application for survey and take necessary steps after putting the petitioner and the owners of neighbouring lands, including the objectors, on notice. The entire exercise shall be concluded within twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If necessary, the jurisdictional police shall provide necessary assistance to the revenue officials. No costs.
