ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri to dispose of the case in C.C.No.102 of 2021 within a stipulated that may be fixed by this Court.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 15.12.2022, learned predecessor Judge has directed the Registry to call for a report from the concerned Court as to why the direction of this Court was not complied with.

3. In pursuance of the same, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Musiri has submitted a letter dated 03.01.2023, wherein, it has been stated that on 08.09.2022, P.W.2 was examined and when the case stands posted for examination of L.W.2, L.W.3 and L.W.5 to L.W.8 on 16.09.2022, the accused has not turned up and hence, Non-Bailable Warrant was ordered to be issued and that subsequently the accused has surrendered on 17.11.2022 and the same was accepted and the case 2/4

stands posted for examination of L.W.2, L.W.3 and L.W.5 to L.W.8 and seeks three months further time to dispose of the case in C.C.No.102 of 2021.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that the prosecution has produced L.W.2, L.W.3 and L.W.5 before the trial Court today.

5. Considering the above, the trial Judge is directed to complete the trial and dispose of the case in C.C.No.102 of 2021 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
