Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the proceedings in Na.Ka.B1/24941/2015, dated 16.06.2017 on the file of the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai the first respondent herein and quash the same and consequently direct the Tahsildar, Devakottai, the 3rd respondent herein to restore the entry in the revenue records in respect of the land in Town Survey, ward J, Block, No.9, T.S.No.34/1 having an extent of 0.1800.5 Sq.mts in uthayatchi group, Municipal Town, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District as join ownership.

ORDER

The grievance of the petitioner is only on account of the fact that the patta has been cancelled and issued in the name of the private respondents without notice to him.

2. The learned Senior Counsel appearing on behalf of the contesting respondent would submit that they have no objection to the patta being restored to its original position, namely as a joint patta in the name of all the legal heirs of Shanmugam.

3. Recording the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. It is well open to all the parties to work out their remedy in view of the subsequent development. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
