This writ petition has been filed seeking to forbear the second and third respondents from terminating the petitioner as a pump operator at Sevalpatti Water Pump Station, Virudhunagar Sub Division, Kovilpatti Division.
2.The case of the respondents is that the petitioner is a contract employee and he is not entitled for the relief sought for and now, the petitioner is working with another contractor in another place and as such, no purpose would be served in maintaining this petition. 2/5
3.When this petition was taken up for hearing on 16.08.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Considering the submission of the learned Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3 that the petitioner is a contract employee and his application seeking permanent status was also rejected by the first respondent and the petitioner is also working with another contractor, this Court listed the matter under the caption for dismissal.
4.Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner. 5.Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel for the respondents 2 and 3, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs.
