The Petition is filed to direct the second respondent to execute the warrant issued by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Chennai (South) in E.A.No.66 of 2023 in C.C.No.76 of 2020 dated 06.03.2022 against the third respondent.

2. According to the petitioner, since the third respondent was absent, a warrant was issued by the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission on 22.08.2024 and no action has been taken by the second respondent.

3. The prayer sought for by the petitioner is not maintainable, since there is nothing to indicate in the order produced by the petitioner that the warrant was addressed to any particular police officer. If a warrant is pending, it is for the petitioner to approach the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, to forward the warrant to a police officer for execution.
