This writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to pay a sum of Rs.25,000/- as penalty under Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 and consequently direct the fourth respondent to take action against the second respondent. 2/5

2.Today(08.06.2023), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that pending this writ petition, the fourth respondent has conducted an enquiry on 08.01.2018 and an order has also been passed. Therefore, nothing survives in this writ petition.

3.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
