JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by J.NISHA BANU, J.) This appeal is filed against the order dated 01.10.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.23420 of 2024.

Today, when the appeal was taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the appellant submitted that it would be suffice if the appellant / petitioner is granted liberty to approach the Redressal Committee as per G.O(Ms)No.05, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare (F5.6-1) Department, dated 30.01.2025 with a further direction to the Redressal Committee to consider the request of the appellant within a time frame. 2/4

In view of the limited relief sought for, the impugned order dated 01.10.2024 made in W.P(MD)No.23420 of 2024 is set aside and the appellant is given liberty to approach the Redressal Committee forthwith as per G.O(Ms)No.05, Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries and Fishermen Welfare (F5.6-1) Department, dated 30.01.2025 and the Redressal Committee shall pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of request of the appellant. Till such time, no auction in respect of fishing rights shall be conducted in the tank in question. So far as the extension of lease, the appellant is at liberty to approach the Redressal Committee. Until the extension is granted, the appellant also shall not fish in the tank in question.
