ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by M.S. RAMESH, J.) The direction of the Writ Court to the Tahsildar, Sivakasi was to issue a show cause notice to the encroacher, conduct survey and then remove encroachment in accordance with law. Alleging non-compliance of the order, the present contempt petition has been filed.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the contemnors, on written instructions, submitted that pursuant to the orders passed in the writ petition, steps have been initiated in accordance with law and encroachments have already been removed. A copy of the written instructions has also been circulated to this Court.
3. In view of the action initiated for removal of encroachments, the disobedience alleged cannot be termed to be willful in nature. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
