ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking to direct the second Respondent Police not to harass the petitioners except under due process of law, on the basis of the representations, dated 6.11.2023 and 7.11.2023 to the first respondent.

2.The contention of the petitioners is that the brother of the petitioner is arrayed as accused in Cr.No.222 of 2023. Now he is in abroad. The respondent Police has issued summons to the petitioner to produce the community certificate of his brother, but the same was not available with him. However, the respondent Police frequently harassing the petitioner. Hence, this petition.

3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and give statement with regard to the availability/non-availability of the document required by the second respondent.

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
