ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting double bullock cart race to be held on 14.09.2025 at Keelaiyur Village to E.Malanpatti via Thirupathur Road, Melur Taluk, Madurai District between 6.00 am to 9.00 am in connection with the Former Chief Minister "Arignar Anna" Birthday festival on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 01.09.2025.

2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the request of the petitioner was considered and the same was rejected by an order dated 08.09.2025, which was also communicated to the petitioner.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the prayer in the Writ Petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
