This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to refund the deducted amount of Rs.27,000/-, which was deducted from the petitioner's PPO.No.C.116105/EDP from the month of April, May and June 2017.
2. The case of the petitioner is that she was appointed as Higher Grade Teacher in the year 1966 and posted at Panchayat Union Elementary School, Maruthanachivilai Village, Radhapuram Union, Tirunelveli District. Thereafter, she was awarded selection grade and special grade. The petitioner was promoted as Secondary Grade Teacher in the year 1990 and she was retired from service on 22.09.1990, on attaining the age of superannuation. After retirement, she was receiving pension peacefully. However, without any notice, the respondent has deducted a sum of Rs.9,000/- from her pension from April 2017. Hence, the petitioner has made a representation to the respondent on 04.07.2017, requesting him to stop the deduction of Rs.9,000/- from her pension and to release the amount of Rs.27,000/- deducted from April, May and June 2017. However, till date no order was passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 04.07.2017, within a specified period.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.
5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 08.02.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
