ORDER

The petitioner filed this writ petition in the year 2017 for a mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to carry on the business with analogue signal in cable TV transmission, on par with M/s.Tamil Nadu Arasu Cable TV Corporation Ltd.

2.When the matter came up for hearing today, learned Counsel on either side submitted that on the directions of the Union Government, the entire Cable TV network has been digitilized with effect from 2015 and as such, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. 2/4

3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the parties, this writ petition is closed, as no further order is required to be passed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. Index :
