********* DR.G.JAYACHANDRAN,J G.R.SWAMINATHAN,J When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Contemnor/Second Respondent states that pursuant to the order of this Court, licence granted to the private individual was cancelled by the Government and that the Government has also taken a policy decision that the sand quarry should be done by the Government itself and accordingly, since 2008, quarry are run by the Government.
