ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is the daughter of one Muthusamy, S/o.Vairavan Nadar. He passed away on 07.03.2020. The legal heir certificate has been enclosed in the typed set of papers. The petitioner only wants to register the certified copy of the decree dated 28.03.2007 made in A.S.No.96 of 2006 on the file of the Sub Court, Ambasamuduram. The authority declined to register the same. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

3.The petitioner is ready to produce the certified copy of the aforesaid decree. She has also enclosed the legal heir certificate. She is also having the death certificate of her father. It is well settled that the time limit stipulated in Section 23 of the Registration Act is inapplicable to registration of Court's decrees.

4.In this view of the matter, the order impugned in the writ petition is quashed. The petitioner is permitted to re-present the certified copy of the aforesaid decree.
