ORDER : The Court made the following order :- Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent.
2. The petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under sections 120(b), 147, 148, 149, 302 of IPC r/w Section 5 of Explosive Substances Act, 1908, in Crime No. 289 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
3.The petitioner's counsel states that final report has been filed in this case and that, therefore, the question of interrogation does not arise.
4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) pointed out that in the final report, it has been alleged that the petitioner threw https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
CRL OP(MD). No.19112 of 2019 bomb on the victim. The petitioner is having one previous case under Section 302 of IPC and another case under Section 302(ii) of IPC. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) also rebuts the statement of the petitioner's counsel that final report has been filed.
5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail. Hence, this criminal original petition stands dismissed. The only course open to him is to surrender and apply for a regular bail.
