PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to issue patta in petitioner's favour for the land comprised in Town Survey No. 8661/4 having an extend of 5662 Sq.F, situated at Block No.90, Pudukkottai Town, Pudukkottai District by considering his online application No. 2022/0153/22/000288 dated 28.03.2022.

2.I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The contentions of both the parties are left open. The petitioner seeks issuance of patta. The third respondent is directed to hold an enquiry. He shall issue notice to all the interested parties including the petitioner and the private respondents. The final order shall be passed on merits and in

accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
