Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to provide the Marriage Assistance of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousands only) to the petitioner (A/c.No.20258024279 IFC Code 12799) as per the G.O.No.49, Social Welfare & Nutritious Meal Scheme (SW3) Department, dated 26.07.2011 within the time stipulated by this Court.

Seeking a direction to the respondents to provide the marriage assistance of Rs.50,000/- to the petitioner, this writ petition has been filed in the year 2017.

2. When this writ petition was taken up for hearing on 19.03.2024, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, 2/5

this writ petition is listed today under the caption "For Dismissal". Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, by relying on the counter affidavit filed by the 4th respondent, submits that the marriage assistance of Rs.50,000/- was already credited in the Bank Account of the petitioner's father , who applied under the Scheme, on 25.12.2016.

4. Recording the said submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
