ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to pass final orders in S.A.No.3773/B/17 on the file of the first respondent by considering the petitioner's representation dated 30.10.2019 within a stipulated period.
2.Mr.K.K.Senthil, learned standing counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mrs.J.Padmavathi Devi, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. 3.With the consent of both sides, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself.
4.The grievance of the petitioner is that as against the alleged inaction on the part of the second respondent in furnishing the information sought for by the petitioner, he has filed Second Appeal to the 1st respondent Tamil Nadu State https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P(MD)No.27083 of 2019 Information Commissioner in S.A.No.3773/B/17 wherein an order was passed on 04.09.2019, directing the second respondent, to furnish the information sought for by the petitioner, within a period of one month. Since the said order was not complied with, the petitioner made a representation before the first respondent on 30.10.2019 seeking to take appropriate action, which is said to be still pending. Hence, this writ petition.
5.Considering the said submission made by the learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following direction: "The 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30.10.2019 and pass appropriate orders on the same, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible." With this direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
