For Petitioners : Mr.AN.Ramanathan (in all the W.Ps.) For Respondents : Mr.S.Dhayalan (in all the W.Ps.) Government Advocate COMMON ORDER These Writ Petitions have been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to publish the mode of allotment of marks and the marks obtained by each of the candidates, who participated in the interview on 14.06.2017, pursuant to the interview call letter of the fourth respondent in Na.Ka.No.A5/1354/2017, to the post of Noon Meal Organizer at Karadipatti Panchayat Union Primary School, Singilipatti Panchayat Union Primary School and Maruthampatti Panchayat Union Primary School, based on the representation of the petitioners, dated 13.07.2017, respectively.

2.According to the petitioners, as per the advertisement issued for appointment to the post of Noon Meal Organizers in different Villages, they applied for the same, as they are fully qualified. Thereafter, they were called for interview along with other candidates. Now, they have come out with the present Writ Petitions alleging that there is no transparency in the selection and unless the respondents published the mode of allotment of marks and the marks obtained by each of the candidates, there will not be any transparency in the selection.

3.The fourth respondent filed counter affidavit in all the Writ Petitions. Mr.S.Dhayalan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the selection was made as per the Rules, following the guidelines issued in the Government Orders concerned and 200 point roster of reservation will be followed. The respondents have produced the statement of marks obtained by the candidates, who attended the interview on 14.06.2017. According to the respondents, even before finalizing the selection, the petitioners have come up with the present Writ Petitions on presumption and assumption and prayed for dismissal of the Writ Petitions.

4.I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials on record. 5.The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners is that there is no transparency in the selection process and the appointments are not made on merits and that the mode or allotment of marks and the marks obtained by each of the candidates must be published, so that the selection can be made in a transparent manner. The respondents have furnished the statements, 2/3

containing the mode of awarding marks and the marks obtained by all the candidates, including the petitioners. In view of the same, these Writ Petitions are dismissed. No costs.
