O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to the life and body of the petitioner.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the case in Crime No.6 of 2020 has been registered against the 11 accused for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323, 452, 506(ii) and 109 of IPC and 3 (1) of Tamilnadu Property (Prevention of Damage and Loss) Act, 1992. Out of 11 accused, Accused No.5 to 11 have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody and that the respondent police are searching the accused No.1 to 4 were said to have involved offences. He would further submit that the respondents police have deputed its personnel to conduct patrolling in the area. respondent police and if necessary, suitable protection will be afforded to the petitioner.
