Heard Mr.T.R.Ramesh, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.R.Suresh Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the 1st respondent and Mr.S.Rajasekar, learned counsel for the 2nd respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned demand notice (Pangalipu Annai No.212/2015-2016) dated 14.07.2017 issued by the second respondent and to consequently direct the second respondent to recalculate the correct demand and waive the interest amount.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the second respondent, based on written instructions, submitted that the petitioner had settled the entire loan dues on 10.05.2024. The written instructions, although addressed to the counsel for the respondents, are formally placed on record.
