PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the 1st respondent from impounding or cancelling the petitioner's valid passport bearing No.ZA135836, issued in file No.M01075377635425 on 07.08.2025, on the ground of pendency of Crime No. 79 of 2022 on the file of the 2nd respondents police, and consequently direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to hold and use the said passport for his professional purposes without interference, subject to such conditions. 1/4

ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus forbearing the first respondent from impounding the passport on the ground of pendency of Cr.No.79 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent police.
2. Learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the second respondent police submits that the criminal case has been quashed by the dedicated Bench of this Court.
3. In view of the above said facts, the prayer sought for in the writ petition has become infructuous. Accordingly, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
