O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to give necessary protection for Arulmighu Kaliamman, Arulmighu Bhagavathiamman, Arulmighu Lakshmi Vinayagar, Arulmighu Madhuveeran, Arulmighu Karuppanasamy Oorsuthiyan, Arulmighu Natrayan, Arulmighu Navagraham, Arulmighu Dhakshinamoorthy, Arulmighu Dhurgaiamman, Arulmighu Rajarajeswari, Arulmighu Abaya Hanuman, Arulmighu Sabtha Kannimargal and Arulmighu Nagammal at Mettupatti, Dindigul 2/6

District to perform the Kumbabishekam and other related activities of the Temples in future in accordance with law.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that since there existed some disputes between the writ petitioner and the respondents 4 and 5, the Tahsildar, Dindigul East may be directed to conduct a peace committee meeting in this regard.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner as well as the fifth respondent would submit that they are ready to appear and co-operate with the peace committee meeting.

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the Tahsildar, Dindigul East is directed to issue notice to the concerned parties to appear before him/her and on receipt of the notice, the parties are directed to appear before the Tahsildar, Dindigul East and on such appearance, the Tahsildar East is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting and pass orders within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
