ORDER
Heard Mr.C.Ashok Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner, Mr.M.Karuppasamy, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4, Mr.N.Mohan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6 and Mr.C.Venkatesh Kumar, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the 7th respondent.
2.This Writ Petition is filed for a direction to direct the 5th respondent to consider the writ petitioner for promotion to the post of P.G. Assistant (History), by conducting a selection process as per Rule 15(4) of Tamil Nadu Recognized Private Schools Regulation Rules, 1974.
3.When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4 and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 5 and 6 and the 7th respondent made a submission that the 7th respondent was promoted on 17.04.2017 as P.G. Assistant and her promotion was approved, vide proceedings dated 31.05.2017, by the fourth respondent.
4.In view of the abovesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands dismissed with liberty to the writ petitioner to challenge the order of appointment and approval. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
