O R D E R

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the second respondent to send his proposal to the first respondent in regard to reimbursement of the medical expenses that incurred for the writ petitioner's open heart surgery based on the enquiry report of the third respondent and thereby direct the first respondent to accord his sanction for the same from the Chief Minister's Public Relief fund as well as from the fund of the Tamil Nadu State Illness Assistance Society within the time limit that may be stipulated by this Court.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent has issued a proceedings dated 26.07.2018 for releasing a sum of Rs.25,000/- by way of cheque towards the writ 2/4

petitioner's open heart surgery from the Tamil Nadu Illness Assistance Scheme and that the cheque has been received by the writ petitioner.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner would submit that subsequently the writ petitioner was reported dead.
