ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent to restore the electricity service connection in S.C.No.069.015.96. 2.The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submits that this particular electricity service connection was disconnected due to theft of energy in the year 2017. The petitioner admitted the guilt and paid the compounding charges as per Section 152 of the Electricity Act. Subsequently the land along with Well has been acquired by the National Highways Department for expansion of national highways road and as on date there is no well and there is no electricity connection to the Well. 3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
