ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for issuing direction to the Respondents 2 and 3 not to harass the petitioners without following the due process of law based on their representation dated. 21.10.2023.

2. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Mohammed Shajakhan, FIR was registered in Crime No.441 of 2023 on the file of the Kenikkarai Police Station under the caption for "Woman Missing". He would further submit that the 1st petitioner herein is father of one Yusuf Siddique, he alleged to have eloped with the daughter of the above said Mohammed Shajakan. Only for making enquiry regarding the where about of the son, the enquiry was ordered. Further, no complaint is pending for enquiry before the respondent police herein.

3. Since no complaint is pending against the petitioners before the respondent police, this Court is of the view of that there is no harassment 2/4

to the petitioners by the respondent police.

4. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. If the petitioners are aggrieved by the said FIR registered in Crime No.441 of 2023, on the file of the Kenikkarai Police Station, they can work out their remedy through appropriate proceedings. 8.11.2023 NCC :
