ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to expedite the investigation and recover the stolen property from the Accused and file the final report in Crime No.236 of 2013 on the file of the second respondent police before the concerned Magistrate Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the respondent police has filed a status report and it has been stated that the respondent police are unable to trace the accused and that they have closed the case as undetected on 22.02.2019 in R.C.No.03 of 2019. 3.At this Juncture, the counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has filed a petition in Cr.M.P.No.1813 of 2016 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai, on 08.08.2016 seeking to reopen the case https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19343 of 2019 for further investigation and the same was reopened by the Judicial Magistrate No.VI, Madurai. Hence, the present petition is filed. 4.In view of the above, this Court directs the second respondent Police to continue with the investigation and file a final report within a period of four Months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction and observation, this Criminal original petition is disposed of.
