ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to produce the person or body of the detenue the petitioner's daughter namely Dhanalakshmi D/o Chellapandi aged about 35 years before this Court and set her at liberty and handed over to the petitioner.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel submitted that based upon the complaint given by the petitioner a case in Crime No.384 of 2019 has been registered under the caption woman missing was registered on 20.12.2019 and during the course of investigation, the victim was secured and has given a statement that she secured a job in Italy, where they got married and living with her family there. Based upon the above said statement, further action has been dropped and RCS notice has also been served upon the petitioner.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Government Counsel, the prayer sought for in this petition has become https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.19318 of 2019 infructuous. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed as infructuous.
