************* This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to conduct an enquiry under the Sexual Harassment of Woman at Work Places(Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act,within the time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.It is the case of the Petitioner that she was initially employed as Junior Relationship Executive in Muthoot Finance, Srivaikundam Branch, Tuticorin District. While so, due to some motive and vengeance in the work place, the Regional Manager,Tirunelveli Region of the said company has unnecessarily tortured her by speaking lustful words and forced her to fulfil his sexual desires. Hence the Petitioner has submitted a complaint under the above said Act to the respondent herein on 5.9.2018. Since the same is pending without any progress, the Petitioner has come forward with this Writ Petition for the above said relief. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)NO.27085 OF 2019 4.After service of notice, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent, on instructions, stated that the enquiry on the Petitioner's complaint dated 5.9.2018 has already been commenced by the District Collector and it is under progress. 5.In view of the above said submission, the respondent is directed to complete the enquiry in the above subject-matter complaint, dated 5.9.2018 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing all the necessary parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
