ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to quash the impugned order passed by the respondent in D.O.No.91/2017 C.No.K1/39530/2016 dated 31.01.2017, not permitting the petitioner to retire from service.

2.In the light of the order passed in Crl.O.P(MD)No.2662 of 2017, it is represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the respondent may be directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Act and Rules.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent submitted that the disciplinary proceedings shall be concluded by following the procedures as contemplated under the relevant Act and Rules.

4.In view of the aforesaid submissions made by both parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings pending against the petitioner by following the procedures as contemplated under the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

2 W.P(MD)No.14651 of 2017 relevant Act and Rules, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
