ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner and his family members from the hands of the respondents 3 and 4 on the basis of the complaints dated 21.11.2022 and 07.12.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that though summons was issued to the petitioner to appear before the second respondent, he has not turned up.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is ready to appear before the second respondent.

4. Recording the submissions made on either sides, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent and on such appearance, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.12.2022 and to proceed with the enquiry in accordance with law.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
