ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Section 420 of I.P.C. in Crime No.Not known of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioners has appeared before the court through Video Conference platform and submitted that the first petitioner is the mother and the second petitioner is the son. He further submitted that the first petitioner filed a suit against one Rajendran. Further submitted that the petitioners reasonably apprehend that the respondent police is trying to arrest the petitioners at the instigation of the said Rajendran. Hence, the learned counsel prayed for grant of prearrest bail to the petitioners.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions submitted that the respondent police has not received any complaint against the petitioners and no case has been registered against the petitioners.

5. The aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) is recorded.

6. In view of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioners have no reasonable apprehension of arrest. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
